How do we book you for our wedding?

First we have to get in touch! You can contact Jack directly through Jack@jackbatesphotography or text/call 561-762-0984. From there we will discuss the next steps.  We require two things, a signed contract along with a 30% down payment, to reserve your wedding day.

How many images will we receive?

It depends on the collection. We do offer in my more extensive collections with all of the unedited RAW files on an external hard drive along with the processed ones too of course. On an average wedding day our team takes about 5000 images. 

Depending on the collection you will receive anywhere between 250-1000 processed, retouched photographs. 

Engagements- 50-300 images 

Lifestyle portraits- 35-150 images 

Why should I have a second shooter?

First off, the second shooter captures a different angle. This is most valuable during the first look, ceremony, & reception.  The second shooter also provides another perspective and artistic approach during the entirety of the day. This captures your story at different levels. I do recommend a second shooter but it is not essential. 

Do we get the personal rights to our photos?

Yes, after all it is your wedding! We have zero tolerance for hidden fees. We are happy to provide you with a USB and  an online gallery for printing, sharing, downloading.. really for any personal use! With that being said we do always appreciate when you give credit to Jack Bates Photography while online blogging. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, checks, money transfers, and the app venmo are preferred. We do accept credit cards, PayPal and card payment through our invoices. Checks should be made out to Jack Bates Photography LLC. 

What is your turn around time for my final set of images?

Wedding: 4-6 weeks 

Engagement: 1-3 weeks

Portraits: 1-3 weeks

How do we receive our final set of images?

The images are delivered through and online hosting link and custom USB/case organized in galleries from the day.

Can we really make prints anywhere we want?

Yes. Your wedding photos are for you! Photos come with a release letter that state your full access. The photos are extremely high resolution for any printing needs. We recommend you use an industry standard printing lab.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes. We offer a premium wedding album w/ a customized design.

Are the images in my gallery going to be edited?

Yes, all of them. Color corrected, retouched. Ready to print.

My venue requires liability insurance. Are you covered?

Yes

What is a first look?

A first look is a moment staged and set up by the wedding photographer for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony.

Why should I do a first look?

We highly recommend doing a first look. They make the day much more relaxed, and opens up the opportunity get innovative and create stunning images. 

How will we know the photography schedule/timeline for the day?

I will send you a questionnaire to fill out with all your fun details. I'll call back with a photography timeline. Once you book me, I’m in for the ride. My team & I will be apart of the planning process the whole way.

How will you work with us throughout the day so you get the shots you need but we can still enjoy ourselves?

As a photographer I'm egoless. Your wedding day is entirely about you. If you have any needs or special requests, we will work together to meet your every expectation. With that being said, you don't have to worry about me. I will do my job and give you the best results of stunning images captured during your wedding. 

What is your pricing?

My collections range from $2000 to $6000. The pricing is dependent on the needs of each individual bride. Variable factors include the amount of coverage on your wedding day; how many photographers; wedding albums; engagement, boudoir, and bridal sessions; and traveling. I am happy to discuss the best collections fit for your wedding!

Where do you live and do you travel?

We are based out of Jupiter, FL but have had the privilege to travel around Florida; and to places as far as California, and over seas to the Bahamas to photograph weddings. 

Does your studio provide videography services?

Absolutely! Ask us for more details about videoing and creating a motion-visual for your special day.

How soon do we need to reserve our date?

The SOONER the BETTER! We can't emphasize this enough. To ensure that your wedding date is available, we recommend reserving your spot at least 6-months to a year in advance. 

How many weddings do you shoot a year?

On average, we shoot around 30 weddings in a year.

THE Wedding JOURNEY with us...

Once you have chosen us, the next step is very simple. We discuss in details your expectations exactly. The most satisfied clients are those who have thoroughly expressed there vision and desires, so we can turn their dreams into a reality. Some brides are not sure at all and that is okay because we will work very closely to pin point them together !  A wedding questionnaire is sent to the couples.  We want all the unique important details of your special day. This helps prepare a seamless timeline for your special day. From our first email to our last you can be expected to be treated not only as a client, but a friend. Every collection is very customizable based on variable factors.  Before providing a detailed estimate, we work with every client individually, discussing these factors in detail. ALL collections include personal rights for life to your digital images. Collectively 5000 images are captured on a full wedding day. The editing process is the most tedious because we break down those 5000 photos to roughly 1000 photos. To ensure we select the BEST photos, we use our Pre-Wedding questionnaire which states the bride & grooms expectations. From there, all photos are professionally edited by Jack. He strives for flawless exposure, color, and composition. The top photos are selected as your "wedding story highlights". These are the photos that tell your wedding love story and re-live the day for decades to come. In just a short 4-6 weeks after your wedding, a special link will be waiting in your inbox that contains ALL your wedding photograph's. The photos are organized into galleries for viewing, downloading and sharing.  Option to select the photos you would like to use in a wedding album or option to approve Jack's "wedding story highlights".  With today's constant use of technology it is very important to have the digitals. And if you are blown away with the quality of the digitals, we can guarantee that you will be even more blown away with the physical photos in a beautiful album that you can pull out 20 years down the road.
